Schedule 2 Drive Student Reference Guide

Congratulations, you are ready to begin the second phase of your driver education and behind-the-wheel instruction.  Since Driver Safety Consultants is a member of Schedule 2 Drive, you will be able to quickly and easily schedule your driving sessions via the Internet!  

Before you can schedule your first drive, you will need to obtain your learner’s permit and complete the following 3 easy steps.

1. Register for a Schedule 2 Drive account.

• Go to www.schedule2drive.com.
• Click the Register Now button.       
• Enter your school code (9562), first name, and last name and click the Continue button.
• Enter your permit number, high school, birthday, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, email address, and your parent’s email address.  You will be asked for your permit number and birthday twice because you will use this information to log in to the system.
• Click the Continue button.
• Verify the information you entered to ensure it is correct and click the Continue button.

2. Pay the one-time $8.00 fee using a credit card or a money order.

• Select a payment option and click the Continue button.
• Follow the steps below based on the payment method chosen.
  
• Credit Card:
• Enter your billing and credit card information.
• Click the Verify button.
• Click the Submit button.
• Print a copy of the order confirmation for
  your records.
• The permit must then be verified by the driving school.
  
• Money Order:
• Print out the money order payment information form and mail the form, along with your money order to the address provided.
• Once the money order is received, the payment is verified by Schedule 2 Drive, LP in the Schedule 2 Drive system and the permit is verified by the driving school.
  
• Pay Later: If you select the pay later option, you will be able to log on to the Schedule 2 Drive system and will be able to view all areas of the system.  However, you will be unable to schedule drives until you pay the Schedule 2 Drive fee. When you are ready to pay the fee, follow the steps below:
• Log on to the Schedule 2 Drive site using your permit number and birthday.
• Select the Amount Owed tab and click on the Pay Schedule2Drive fee button.
• Select a payment method and follow the steps above based on the payment option chosen. 

3. Have your account activated by Driver Safety Consultants.

After your payment has been received, you will need to have your account activated by Driver Safety Consultants.  This typically happens automatically.  If you are still unable to schedule drives and you know your payment has been received, please call the office at 719-277-0001.

To log on to Schedule 2 Drive:

• Go to www.schedule2drive.com.
• In the Student Login area, enter your Permit # and Birthday.
• Click the Login button.
• Once you have logged on, your home page will appear.  Your home page contains the date and time of your next drive, the number of drive and observation hours you have completed, and a message board that contains important information from Driver Safety Consultants.

From the Home page, you can also view your no shows and late cancellations, fees owed, and your registration history. To do so, simply select the appropriate tab across the top.

To register for a session:

To register for a drive time follow the directions below:

• Click on the Schedule Drives link located on the left-hand navigation panel. 
• Select a date that has the word Open on the calendar.  If the open link does not appear on a particular date, no drive times have been scheduled for that date. If the word Full appears, all sessions have been filled.
• Select the specific time you would like to drive under the selected date.
• Click on the Next Step button.
• Verify that you have selected the correct time and date and click on the Register for Drive button.

To cancel a session:

Drive times may be cancelled at any time; however, a $25 cancellation fee will be charged for all cancellations within 24 hours of the originally scheduled drive date and time. To cancel a drive time, follow the steps below:

On your home page, click on the Cancel link next to the session you wish to cancel.

• Verify that you have selected the correct session then click on the Cancel Drive button.  If you are canceling within 24 hours, a warning notice will be displayed.  Once the drive time has been successfully cancelled, a confirmation message will be displayed.  The cancellation will also appear under the No Show/Cancelled tab.

To edit your user profile:

• From your home page, click on the User Profile link.
• Select the Edit tab.
• Edit your information and click the Submit button.

To access frequently asked questions:

• From your home page, click on the FAQ link.
• Click on a question to jump to the answer.

To contact your driving school:

• From your home page, click on the Contact Us link.
• Enter your email address in the Email field.
• Enter a subject for the email in the Subject field
• Enter the message in the Body field.
• Click the Send button.
